Cookie Policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on casualdevelopement.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device. Similar technologies (like local storage) work in comparable ways. They can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by another service embedded in the page).

How we use them

We keep this simple. The marketing site does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers, and it does not profile you. What we do use falls into two groups:

1. Essential and functional

NameSet byPurposeType / duration
cd_cookie_consentCasual Development (this site)Remembers your choice on the cookie banner so we don't ask againLocal storage, until you clear it
cdb (admin only)Casual DevelopmentKeeps our team signed in to the private admin dashboard. Not set for normal visitors.Session cookie

2. Third-party services

Some features load tools from other companies, which may set their own cookies or receive limited technical data (such as your IP address) when they run:

ServiceWhen it loadsWhat it does
CalendlyWhen you choose to open the booking calendarLets you book a call. Calendly may set its own cookies. We only load it after you accept cookies or click to load it.
Google FontsOn every pageServes the site's fonts. Google receives your IP address to deliver them but sets no cookies for this.
FormspreeWhen you submit the project formDelivers your enquiry to us. It processes the details you enter but does not set cookies on this site.

These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which govern how they handle any data they receive.
