This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on casualdevelopement.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device. Similar technologies (like local storage) work in comparable ways. They can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by another service embedded in the page).
We keep this simple. The marketing site does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers, and it does not profile you. What we do use falls into two groups:
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type / duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cd_cookie_consent | Casual Development (this site) | Remembers your choice on the cookie banner so we don't ask again | Local storage, until you clear it |
| cdb (admin only) | Casual Development | Keeps our team signed in to the private admin dashboard. Not set for normal visitors. | Session cookie |
Some features load tools from other companies, which may set their own cookies or receive limited technical data (such as your IP address) when they run:
| Service | When it loads | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Calendly | When you choose to open the booking calendar | Lets you book a call. Calendly may set its own cookies. We only load it after you accept cookies or click to load it. |
| Google Fonts | On every page | Serves the site's fonts. Google receives your IP address to deliver them but sets no cookies for this. |
| Formspree | When you submit the project form | Delivers your enquiry to us. It processes the details you enter but does not set cookies on this site. |
These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which govern how they handle any data they receive.
We may update this policy as the site changes. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
